This MPT series cabinet, designed by Marian Grabiński for IKEA in the 1960s, is a refined example of Scandinavian mid-century design. Crafted in light oak, it embodies the clean lines, balanced proportions, and understated elegance that define Nordic modernism. The cabinet features two smooth doors with a working lock and key, revealing adjustable interior shelves that make it both versatile and practical. Its integrated straight-leg base elevates the structure, giving it a light and airy presence. The natural oak finish enhances the wood’s luminosity, allowing it to blend effortlessly into contemporary, minimalist, or classic interiors. Recently restored and in very good vintage condition, it retains its original patina and IKEA stamp on the back. A timeless piece that pairs beautifully with other designs from the same MPT series.
