Designed by Rino Maturi and manufactured by Mimo Padova in Italy during the 1970s, this Nuvolone living room set is a striking expression of the bold and experimental approach that defined Italian design of the era. The modular ensemble consists of upholstered seating elements that can be combined to form a sofa, complemented by integrated tables that enhance both functionality and sculptural presence. The structure is made of molded polyurethane foam with a hard plastic base, a characteristic construction method of the period, while the surfaces are finished in the original brown velour upholstery, preserved without replacement. A glass tabletop crowns the larger integrated table, creating a refined contrast between soft and rigid materials. Offered in original condition, the set shows wear consistent with age and use, all visible in accompanying images. Structurally sound and visually impactful, this authentic 1970s Italian design embodies comfort, versatility, and strong visual identity, making it an important statement piece for collectors and design-focused interiors.
