This iconic mushroom-shaped pendant lamp was designed in the 1960s by Elio Martinelli for Martinelli Luce and is a classic expression of Italian mid-century modern lighting design. The lamp features a yellow lacquered metal shade paired with a frosted glass diffuser, creating a warm, softly diffused light and a strong graphic silhouette. Its balanced proportions and bold color reflect Martinelli’s experimental yet functional approach to form and material. The pendant remains in original condition and has developed a beautiful natural patina that enhances its vintage character. The electrical components have been checked and are fully functional, fitted with an E27 socket and suitable for LED bulbs. With a glass shade height of 27 cm, this lamp works perfectly over dining tables, kitchen islands, or as a statement piece in modern and mid-century inspired interiors. A timeless and collectible design from one of Italy’s most influential lighting designers.
