Wall lamp designed by Carlo Nason for Mazzega, Italy, 1970s. A striking example of adventurous Italian modern lighting, this piece is crafted from hand blown Murano glass in rich amber tones accented by clear sections. The sculptural curved segments reflect Nason’s material driven approach, where transparency and texture become integral to both form and function. When illuminated, the glass softly diffuses light, creating warm atmospheric reflections and subtle refractions across surrounding surfaces. Produced during a decade defined by experimentation and artisanal excellence, the lamp embodies the fusion of Venetian glassmaking tradition with modernist clarity. Offered in good vintage condition, it displays age consistent patina with well preserved glass elements. A captivating statement piece that brings authentic 1970s Italian craftsmanship and luminous character to curated interiors.
