A rare “T3 Major” table lamp by Niels Rasmussen Thykier, Denmark, 1929. A first edition produced by Thykier Lampefabrik before Fog & Mørup began manufacturing the model in 1938, this early example features a brass frame and top paired with its original oil-impregnated red/orange paper shade. Later editions replaced the paper with plastic, making this version especially collectible. An important piece of Danish lighting history, it reflects the same design spirit as contemporaries Kaare Klint, Kaj Gottlob, and Poul Henningsen. In excellent vintage condition, the lamp retains its authenticity and patina, representing a significant find for collectors of Scandinavian modern design.
