These model 300 dining chairs were designed in 1965 by Joe Colombo and produced by Pozzi in Italy, representing an early and highly refined example of Colombo’s forward-looking approach to furniture design. The chairs combine solid oak frames with leather-upholstered seats, creating a balanced dialogue between warm natural materials and modernist clarity. Defined by clean lines, precise proportions, and excellent ergonomics, the design reflects Colombo’s focus on functionality and everyday use without sacrificing visual strength. The solid oak structure provides durability and architectural presence, while the leather seating adds comfort and a subtle sense of luxury. The chairs remain in good vintage condition with light signs of wear consistent with age, making them both practical and collectible. A timeless set of Italian mid-century dining chairs well suited to modern interiors and serious design collections.
