The model 2601 wall lamp was designed by Gaetano Sciolari for Stilnovo in Italy during the 1950s and is a striking example of early Italian modern lighting. Characterized by its bold red metal shade and clean, architectural lines, the lamp reflects Stilnovo’s forward-looking approach to form, color, and functionality in the postwar period. The sculptural shade directs light efficiently while also serving as a strong visual accent on the wall, making the piece both practical and decorative. Sciolari’s design language balances elegance with innovation, resulting in a lamp that feels graphic yet refined. A highly collectible lighting object, ideal for adding a vivid mid-century Italian touch to hallways, living spaces, or design-focused interiors.
