This Danish lounge chair with matching ottoman, model ML 140, was designed by Illum Wikkelsø and manufactured by Mikael Laursen & Son in Denmark circa 1960 to 1965. A strong example of sculptural Danish modern comfort, the set has been completely renovated and professionally upholstered in quality grey furniture wool, with partially renewed upholstery and refreshed teak legs that highlight the warm wood grain. Restored by an experienced upholsterer, the chair offers a supportive high back, generous proportions, and an inviting sit, while the ottoman completes the relaxed lounge function. A ready-to-place vintage set combining authentic mid-century character with careful, recent restoration.
