This elegant round dining table was designed and manufactured by VV Møbler in Denmark during the 1960s, exemplifying the refined craftsmanship of Danish modern design. The table retains its original stamped logo beneath the tabletop, confirming its authenticity and origin. A distinctive design feature is the splayed leg construction, subtly angled in relation to the tabletop, which adds both visual lightness and structural elegance. Crafted in richly grained rosewood, the surface displays beautiful natural wood patterns that enhance the table’s sculptural character. The table is extendable and can be used with one or two extension leaves, offering flexibility for different dining needs. One extension continues the edge detail along the side, while the other does not, reflecting thoughtful design variation typical of the period. The colour match between the tabletop and extensions is harmonious and well balanced. Preserved in very good condition, this dining table has been professionally restored by the renowned Møbelfabrik workshop, drawing on over 35 years of expertise in wood treatments.
