This elegant round coffee table was designed by Johannes Andersen and manufactured by Silkeborg in Denmark during the 1960s. The table retains its original manufacturer’s logo beneath the tabletop, confirming its authenticity and provenance. The design combines refined proportions with high quality materials, showcasing Andersen’s distinctive approach to Danish modern furniture. The legs and edge frame are crafted from solid teak, while the tabletop features a beautifully finished teak veneer with expressive natural grain patterns. A woven cane shelf forms the lower level, adding lightness and functional storage to the design. This coffee table is an original piece and remains in very good condition, having been professionally restored by the renowned Møbelfabrik workshop with over 35 years of expertise in specialist wood treatments. The cane shelf shows some defects consistent with age and use, which do not compromise the table’s structural stability and contribute to its authentic vintage character.
