Gorgeous swirl cocoon pendant in the style of Castiglioni, most likely produced by the renowned German cocoon specialist Goldkant. Its sculptural twisted form is particularly rare, as most cocoon lamps from the period were made in round or oval shapes. The shade is in beautiful vintage condition with no rips, tears or cuts, only the natural age-related spotting typical of original resin-coated cocoon surfaces. Recently upgraded with a bronze Eaton E27 fitting and rewired for safe use, the lamp also retains its original ceiling cap. A striking and atmospheric vintage pendant that adds soft, diffused light and sculptural presence to any interior.
