This stunning and rare Uchiwa fan pendant lamp dates from the 1970s and is attributed to Spain, strongly echoing the iconic Uchiwa lamp series famously associated with Ingo Maurer. Crafted from rattan fiber, the lamp features multiple fan-shaped elements that create a light, graphic silhouette and diffuse light in a warm, atmospheric way. The fans are fully adjustable and can be positioned as desired, allowing the composition to be customized, and they can also be easily removed for safe transportation. Black metal brackets support the structure and show a beautiful, honest patina, while the rattan fibers themselves remain in excellent condition. Fitted for a standard E27 light bulb, the pendant can currently be hung up to a height of 123 cm. A highly decorative and sculptural lighting piece that functions as both illumination and statement object in modern, vintage, or design-forward interiors.
