A distinguished example of Mid-Century Modern design, this dresser pairs the warm, organic grain of walnut with refined brass accents in a composition attributed to the collaborative legacy of Paul Frankl and John Stuart. Crafted in the United States in the 1950s, the piece showcases balanced proportions, meticulous joinery, and understated luxury. Each drawer front highlights walnut’s natural depth, while brass hardware and trim articulate the piece with subtle metallic contrast, a hallmark of Frankl’s architectural sensibility. Whether anchored in a bedroom as a statement storage piece or repurposed as a refined sideboard in a living space, the dresser bridges functional design with collectible mid-century character. Offered in good vintage condition, this piece retains a vibrant finish and well-preserved brass details with minimal surface wear consistent with age. A refined example of American mid-century craftsmanship, it resonates with collectors and interior designers favoring lasting style and material sophistication.
