An expressive icon of Italian Mid-Century Modern seating, this heart-shaped sofa is attributed to the visionary designer Osvaldo Borsani and dates to the 1950s. With its romantic curved profile and generous form, the sofa transcends functional seating to become sculptural centerpiece. Crafted in Italy with expert upholstery and refined construction, the silhouette evokes both modern optimism and poetic sentiment, characteristic of post-war Italian design innovation. The generous seat invites comfort, while the graceful curvature creates visual rhythm and presence in contemporary or classic interiors alike. Offered in good vintage condition, the sofa retains its original upholstery and structural integrity with subtle signs of use that contribute to authentic era character. A rare and striking collectible, it appeals to connoisseurs of Italian modernism and expressive seating design.
