Product Description
The Nova pendant lamp was designed by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup in Denmark in 1963. Crafted from aluminum, the lamp features a sculptural rounded shade with a glossy surface that reflects the contours of its surroundings. When illuminated, it provides a soft, glare-free downward light, making it particularly suited for hanging above a dining table or seating area. The use of aluminum reflects Hammerborg's exploration of metals during the 1960s, when many of his designs were produced in aluminum, brass and copper. The lamp measures 41 cm in diameter and 18 cm in height. It remains in good vintage condition with age-related signs of wear visible in the photos. The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned and fitted with a new braided cable. A new metal canopy is included.
