An original BR 02 daybed designed by Martin Visser for ’t Spectrum, produced in the late 1980s. First introduced in the late 1950s, the BR 02 is one of the most iconic examples of Dutch Mid Century Modern design, combining minimalist aesthetics with ingenious functionality. By simply pulling the seat forward, the sofa transforms effortlessly into a comfortable single daybed. This example includes the original BA 02 loose armrest block, adding versatility and comfort. It has been professionally reupholstered in Camira Main Line Flax, a high-quality sustainable fabric that complements the clean architectural lines of the design.
