An iconic Marsala two-seater sofa designed by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset, created around the late 1960s–early 1970s during a period of experimentation in French design. Its distinctive sculptural form is built around a thermoformed plexiglass shell, paired here with newly restored cushions upholstered in a soft beige, stain-resistant bouclé fabric. The cushion filling has also been fully renewed, giving this vintage piece a fresh contemporary character while preserving the original silhouette. The plexiglass remains in very good overall condition, with light marks and patina consistent with age and no impact on structural integrity. No longer in production, the Marsala remains a distinctive example of Ducaroy’s innovative approach to materials and relaxed seating. A matching three-seater, ottoman and two armchairs are also available. Shipping: 4–14 days from purchase.
