A grand expression of Hollywood Regency aesthetic, this large commode by Maison Jansen unites deep black wood with a luminous marble top for a piece of commanding presence and material sophistication. Crafted in the 1940s, its sculptural silhouette and rich surfaces celebrate classic design heritage and authoritative visual weight. Ample storage is configured through finely proportioned drawers, while the marble surface introduces elegant contrast and architectural refinement. Its versatile scale allows use as a bedroom dresser, hallway focal point, or statement storage element in refined interiors. Offered in good vintage condition, the commode retains its substantive form and rich material interplay, with age-related wear that contributes authentic character. An impactful piece of design history, it brings Hollywood Regency’s timeless sophistication to curated spaces.
