The LS 178 pendant lamp in bubble crystal was designed by Carlo Nason and produced in Italy in the 1970s, showcasing his signature balance of sculptural form and refined light diffusion. The design features three nested glass shades that overlap to create depth and a harmonious silhouette, each secured with a simple aluminum ring that keeps the composition crisp and minimal. The colorless crystal glass is enriched with embedded air bubbles, adding texture and softly scattering the light for an airy, atmospheric glow, while the tapered, leaf-like contours bring a subtle organic elegance. A timeless Italian statement piece for dining areas, hallways, or living spaces, it remains in very good vintage condition with only slight oxidation on the fixture.
