This impressive large curved console table is attributed to Maison Jansen and dates from the 1950s, reflecting the refined elegance and architectural clarity associated with mid-century French design. The sculptural frame is executed in steel with bronze accents, creating a sophisticated interplay between clean modern lines and subtle decorative luxury. Its generous curved form gives the console a strong presence while remaining visually balanced, making it ideal for placement in an entry hall, living room, or behind a sofa. The combination of industrial materials with elegant proportions is characteristic of Maison Jansen’s ability to merge classical inspiration with modern sensibility. The console is in good vintage condition, showing light signs of age and wear consistent with its period, which enhance its authentic character. A striking statement piece well suited to both modern and Hollywood Regency inspired interiors.
