The L1 Guggerli Table Lamp by Rico and Rosemarie Baltensweiler for Baltensweiler AG is a captivating example of 1960s Swiss Space Age design that blends playful form with functional lighting. Crafted in Switzerland, this lamp features a cylindrical grey plexiglass base punctuated by a distinctive round cutout, within which sits a glass sphere diffuser that can be rotated to customize the direction and quality of light. Originally conceived during a period when experimental materials and futuristic aesthetics defined modern lighting, the Guggerli lamp’s inventive use of transparent and semi-opaque materials creates a striking visual effect that enhances both classic and contemporary interiors. Its design balances minimal structure with dynamic light play, making it as much a sculptural centerpiece as a functional luminaire. Offered in excellent condition, each piece has been professionally inspected and cleaned, preserving its original charm and ensuring it illuminates your space with both personality and practicality.
