An extraordinary example of French Art Deco sophistication, this dining table by Jules Leleu fuses luxurious rosewood veneer with exquisite abalone inlay, a pairing that epitomizes refined material richness and decorative subtlety. Crafted in France during the 1930s, the piece showcases Leleu’s command of proportion, surface articulation, and visual poise. A centerpiece of its era, the table’s luminous abalone accents animate the deep warmth of rosewood, creating a rich interplay of light and texture. Its architectural framework and balanced composition make it as suited for grand dining rooms as it is for curated contemporary interiors that value historic craftsmanship. Offered in good vintage condition, the table retains its material integrity and expressive surface with age-related wear that contributes to its narrative character. A rare and collectible Art Deco classic, it brings a distinguished presence and historic lineage to elegant interiors.
