This Bauhaus-style tubular steel sofa was produced by Hynek Gottwald in former Czechoslovakia during the 1930s. A striking example of interwar functionalist design, it features a gracefully curved frame crafted from polished chrome-plated tubular steel, with integrated armrests and platform support. The original steel structure remains in excellent vintage condition with a light, even patina, while the cushions have been newly upholstered in black vegan leather, complementing the clean geometry and industrial character of the frame. Combining sculptural form, comfort and durability, the sofa is well suited to Bauhaus, modernist and contemporary interiors. Dimensions: 190 cm long, 85 cm deep, 70 cm high, with a seat height of 40 cm.
