An iconic Razorblade dining chair designed by Henning Kjærnulf for Nyrup Møbelfabrik, Denmark, during the 1960s. Crafted from solid oak, this sculptural chair is celebrated for its dramatically carved backrest and expressive craftsmanship, making it one of the most recognisable designs of Danish Modern furniture. The seat has been professionally reupholstered in luxurious light lambswool, adding exceptional comfort and a rich tactile contrast to the beautifully grained oak frame. Deeply rooted in the traditions of Danish cabinetmaking, the Razorblade chair masterfully balances decorative detail with everyday functionality. Its timeless silhouette makes it equally suited as a dining chair, desk chair or statement accent piece, complementing Scandinavian, Mid Century Modern, Classic and Art Deco-inspired interiors. Beautifully refinished and presented in good vintage condition with age-related wear consistent with its history. Dimensions: H 84 × W 51 × D 45 cm. Seat height: 45 cm.
