This early production Model AT 8 round coffee table was designed by Hans J. Wegner for Andreas Tuck in Denmark during the 1950s. A refined example of Scandinavian Modern design, it features a beautifully proportioned circular teak top paired with solid beech legs, showcasing Wegner’s commitment to craftsmanship and material harmony. During restoration, the severely damaged original teak veneer was carefully replaced with period appropriate old teak veneer to preserve the table’s authenticity and character. The structure remains solid and well balanced, and the table presents in very good vintage condition following professional restoration. A timeless and versatile piece suited for both classic and contemporary interiors.
