A sculptural pendant lamp that captures the expressive spirit of 1970s Italian design, this piece reflects the distinctive character of Murano glass craftsmanship. Formed as a suspended cube, the shade is composed of three substantial clear glass panels, joined with chromed bolts that emphasize both structure and transparency. Each panel features richly textured surfaces embedded with amber-hued inclusions, reminiscent of molten resin or natural formations. When illuminated, the glass diffuses light softly while the amber elements create a warm interplay of glow and shadow, lending the piece a quietly atmospheric presence. The contrast between the raw, ice-like texture and the geometric form results in a compelling balance of organic and architectural qualities. Suspended from a fine wire system with a black spiral cord, the lamp maintains a sense of lightness despite its material weight. Though unsigned, it strongly recalls the experimental work of Italian designers of the period. The lamp remains in very good vintage condition, with minor wear consistent with age, enhancing its authentic and collectible appeal.
