This Isabella rocking chair, designed by Karl-Axel Adolfsson in the 1960s, features a beautifully lacquered black wooden frame and is complemented by a perfectly matching checked fabric cover for the seat and head cushions. The frame remains in excellent condition, with only slight wear on the corners of the runners and one corner brace, adding a touch of character to the piece. The checked fabric cushions show minimal signs of use and retain their vibrant, colorful appearance, providing both comfort and visual appeal.
Crafted by Gemla Fabrikers, the oldest furniture manufacturer in Sweden, this rocking chair exemplifies traditional craftsmanship and sustainability, key values upheld by the company. Gemla's commitment to quality is evident in the chair's solid construction and timeless design, making it a true collectible piece that combines style, functionality, and Swedish heritage.
