A sculptural French table lamp from the 1970s in the style of Maison Jansen, reflecting the glamorous decorative language associated with Hollywood Regency interiors. The upright shell is crafted from amber and dark brown resin, reproducing the spotted appearance and glossy finish of natural tortoiseshell, and is supported by a slender dark metal stem on a flared black lacquered base. The reverse reveals textured anatomical detailing and an adjustable socket mounted on a swivel joint, allowing the light source to be angled as required. Light is projected against the inner surface of the shell, producing a warm, indirect ambient glow.
