This gorgeous extendable wall lamp by Lars Schiøler for Høyrup Light, Denmark, dates to the 1950s and features its original sisal rope shade alongside a complementary cocoon shade. The brass wall mount extends up to 90 cm, allowing flexible positioning, while the shades can be lowered to any desired height for adaptable lighting. The original sisal shade measures 25 cm in diameter and adds natural texture, while the larger 30 cm cocoon shade offers a soft diffused glow. The cocoon shade is not original to the mount but pairs beautifully with the design. The brass shows an attractive natural patina consistent with age, and both shades remain in great vintage condition. The lamp is fitted for a general E27 lightbulb. A refined and versatile example of mid century Danish lighting design.
