This Danish rosewood table originates from the 1970s, a decade that continued the Scandinavian tradition of functional design paired with refined material expression. The piece reflects the period’s focus on simplicity, durability, and visual balance, hallmarks of Danish furniture production in the late modern era.
Crafted in rosewood, the table showcases the material’s characteristic depth of color and expressive grain patterns, which were especially valued in Danish interiors of the time. Rosewood’s strength and visual richness made it a preferred choice for high-quality tables intended for everyday use as well as more formal settings.
Produced in Denmark, the table demonstrates careful workmanship and a restrained aesthetic that allows the natural beauty of the wood to take center stage. It is presented in good vintage condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a warm and authentic patina. Versatile and timeless, this table integrates seamlessly into a wide range of interiors while offering a genuine example of 1970s Danish design. The unfolded dimensions are: 269 x 88 cm
