This “Duo” Free Standing Floor Lamp by Boccato, Gigante & Zambusi for Zerbetto embodies the essence of early 1980s Italian modern design, where functional clarity meets sculptural precision. Originally produced in 1980 in Italy, the lamp’s minimalist white lacquered metal frame is engineered to hold two TL fluorescent lamps, offering enhanced light dispersion and versatility for living rooms, workspaces, or curated interiors. A separate contrasting black base provides both stability and visual balance, allowing the lamp to slide within its support for subtle repositioning. The linear silhouette and refined finish reflect the design trio’s ability to fuse utility with elegant restraint, a hallmark of Italian lighting design from this era. Professionally inspected and presented in mint condition, this piece bridges architectural simplicity with practical illumination, making it a compelling addition to contemporary and classic décor alike.
