This Danish dining set by Johannes Andersen for Vejle Stole og Møbelfabrik dates from the 1960s and exemplifies Scandinavian modernism through balanced proportions and refined craftsmanship. The round teak dining table stands on a sculptural central pedestal with four elegantly splayed legs and retains its original extension mechanism, though the extension leaf is no longer present and it is offered as a fixed round table. The matching Juliane chairs feature open backrests with a central vertical support, softly rounded forms and tapered legs. The teak frames are beautifully finished and the seats have been recently reupholstered in a neutral fabric. One chair has been professionally restored and is fully stable. The set shows minor age consistent wear and remains in good overall condition, offering timeless Danish design suited to both vintage and contemporary interiors.
