Designed in the 1970s by renowned Italian designer Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli, this desk embodies mid-century Italian ingenuity and style. Its wooden structure is elegantly covered with black laminate, complemented by sleek metal legs that integrate seamlessly into the design. Two practical front drawers provide functional storage, and the layout allows the chest to be placed on either side for versatile use. The surface has been professionally refreshed, addressing minor scratches, dents, and chips, while preserving the desk’s authentic character. Plastic handles add a subtle modern touch, consistent with 1970s Italian office design. Ready for immediate use, this piece reflects Italy’s tradition of combining innovative design with high-quality materials, making it a striking and functional addition to contemporary interiors or curated design collections.
