This desk was designed and manufactured by Peter Løvig Nielsen in Denmark in 1968 and is a refined example of Danish modern craftsmanship and functional elegance. Executed in teak, the desk demonstrates exceptional build quality and carefully considered manufacturing techniques, highlighted by the floating tabletop and the upstanding rear edge that gives the design a light and architectural appearance. The front features two sets of three drawers, providing generous and practical storage, while the back is fitted with three open bookshelves, allowing the desk to function beautifully as a freestanding piece. The teak displays extremely beautiful and expressive grain patterns, particularly across the desktop, emphasizing the quality of the material. A logo and year stamp are present, confirming authenticity. The desk is in very good condition, having been expertly maintained by a renowned Møbelfabrik workshop with over 35 years of experience in wood treatments. A timeless and highly functional workspace that embodies the best of late 1960s Danish design.
