This rare console and mirror set by Mario Sabot in collaboration with Willy Rizzo is a refined example of Italian modern design from the 1970s. The console combines polished aluminium, brushed brass and richly figured burl wood veneer, creating a sophisticated contrast between warm and cool materials. Its clean architectural lines are enhanced by a central drawer with a recessed circular brass pull and a lower shelf in matching burl wood. The accompanying mirror reflects the same material palette, featuring bevelled glass framed in burl wood with brass and chrome accents, forming a cohesive composition.
