A rare Cocoon floor lamp produced by Goldkant / Cocoon Leuchten during the 1960s–1970s. An iconic example of Space Age lighting, the lamp features the celebrated sprayed fiberglass cocoon shade, a material developed to create an exceptionally soft and atmospheric diffusion of light. When illuminated, the translucent shade emits a warm, inviting glow that highlights its organic texture and sculptural form, making it as beautiful when switched off as it is when lit.
