Iconic palm tree table lamp designed by Christian Techoueyres for Maison Jansen, France, circa 1970s. Executed in finely worked brass, this sculptural piece is composed of individually shaped elements forming the textured trunk and layered palm leaves, demonstrating Maison Jansen’s exceptional craftsmanship and decorative refinement. Two discreet light sources are positioned beneath the foliage, creating a warm, indirect glow while keeping the bulbs visually concealed. Resting on a contrasting black base with brass detailing, the lamp functions both as atmospheric lighting and as a bold sculptural statement. Highly collectible and increasingly rare on the vintage market, it embodies the glamour and botanical elegance of 1970s French luxury design. A companion 55 cm version from the same private collection is also available separately for a curated multi level display.
