This French brutalist-style floor lamp from the 1960s combines sculptural carving with a clean, functional silhouette. Made in oak with a saddle-brown finish, the tall stem is shaped with angular, geometric cuts that create a bold repeating pattern and strong texture against the smoother sections of the wood. A beige fabric lampshade softens the look and diffuses the light into a warm, ambient glow, while the natural oak grain adds understated depth. Midway up the structure, an integrated round oak shelf provides a practical surface for small objects, blending seamlessly into the design. Fitted with an E27 socket, the lamp is in good vintage condition with normal signs of wear, including small marks to the wood and some stains on the shade, and it offers a great opportunity to re-cover the shade if desired.
