A compact Brutalist bar cabinet designed by Jean Batenburg for MI in Belgium during the 1960s, crafted from solid oak with a dark ebonized finish. Two doors feature deeply faceted panels arranged in a striking diamond relief pattern, creating a sculptural facade that contrasts with the lighter interior. Inside, integrated lighting, a glass shelf and two pull-out drawers provide practical storage for bottles and glassware. Raised on simple rectangular legs, the cabinet retains the architectural character associated with Batenburg’s designs for MI. The original keys are present. Good vintage condition with scratches, rubbing, small marks and areas of finish wear revealing the warmer oak beneath.
