Designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1956, this AP38 “airport chair” is a refined example of Danish modern seating created for public spaces while remaining perfectly suited to the home. Produced in Denmark by AP Stolen (approx. 1960s), the chair features Wegner’s signature balance of lightness, precision, and comfort, with a clean tubular frame and an elegantly upholstered shell. This piece has been completely renovated at Retro Møbler Galleri by a professional upholsterer and is reupholstered in natural cognac camel Italian leather with a beautiful natural patina, giving it a warm, timeless presence.
