A sophisticated sofa designed by Luca Meda for Molteni & Co in 1991, originally conceived for the foyer of the Carlo Felice Theatre in Genoa. Created within the architectural context associated with Ignazio Gardella and Aldo Rossi, both close friends of Meda, the design reflects the refined dialogue between Italian architecture and furniture at the end of the 20th century. This edition is upholstered in a deep red velvet, giving the sofa a rich, luxurious presence while emphasizing its balanced proportions and architectural silhouette. Combining comfort with a distinctly formal character, the piece represents Meda’s ability to translate architectural thinking into elegant, functional furniture.
