A striking Swedish Mid-Century Modern floor lamp from the 1960s, attributed to renowned lighting designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson for H.A. Jakobsson AB, Markaryd. The design features an elegant brass structure supporting five individual light arms, each finished with a lustrous amber-golden glass shade. When illuminated, the warm-toned glass produces a soft and atmospheric glow, while the multiple shades create a sculptural composition even when switched off. The combination of brass, coloured glass and organic arrangement closely reflects the material language and atmospheric approach associated with Jakobsson’s lighting from this period, although the attribution remains unconfirmed. The brass has developed a natural age-related patina, adding warmth and authentic vintage character. Presented in good working condition, with signs of age consistent with its history.
