The Osso table lamp, designed in the 1970s by Carlo Nason for Mazzega in Italy, is a sculptural piece of Murano hand blown glass with an organic, bone-like silhouette. Its irregular, softly contoured form combines semi translucent milky glass layered over clear glass, creating depth and a warm ambient glow when illuminated, while remaining a striking object even when switched off. A discreet base allows the glass body to appear as if hovering slightly above the surface, emphasizing the lamp’s sculptural character and Nason’s experimental approach to material and light. Condition is very good, with a clean glass surface, minimal wear, and wiring in working order.
