This striking large bronze table lamp by Jan des Bouvrie for Qasar was designed in the Netherlands during the 1990s and reflects a bold Brutalist influence within contemporary Dutch design. Standing 80 cm high, the lamp features a sculptural bronze base with strong architectural presence and textured surface detail that commands attention. Each lamp is fitted with a brand new French cocoon fabric lampshade, creating a refined contrast between the raw metallic structure and the soft diffused light. The combination results in a warm and atmospheric glow suited to both modern and eclectic interiors. Designed for a standard E27 lightbulb, the lamp is in excellent working condition.
