An iconic Wassily B3 lounge chair designed by Marcel Breuer and manufactured in Italy by Knoll International / KIGA S.p.A. during the 1970s. Originally conceived in 1925 at the Bauhaus, the design reduces the armchair to an architectural composition of chrome-plated tubular steel and suspended black leather, creating a striking interplay of line, tension and negative space. This example retains its original silver “Knoll International – Modello Depositato – KIGA S.p.A.” label on the frame. Presented in good vintage condition, the leather shows authentic patina, surface marks, edge wear and localised abrasion, particularly around the armrests. The chrome remains bright overall with light scratches and small areas of age-related oxidation or pitting. Dimensions: W 78 × D 72 × H 72 cm; seat height 40.5 cm. Two available, sold individually.
