Rare PK66 coffee table, designed by Poul Kjærholm in 1972 for E. Kold Christensen and produced only until 1974, making it one of his scarcest collector’s pieces. The square tabletop, crafted from plywood with fine maple veneer in a subtle diagonal pattern, features clean chamfered edges that highlight its graphic clarity. Four inward-set, rounded bentwood legs in multi-glued plywood are fixed at the center of each side, giving the piece both stability and an almost floating appearance, true to Kjærholm’s minimalist philosophy of achieving maximum effect with minimal material presence. Unlike his steel designs, the PK66 reveals his refined approach to wood craftsmanship. In very good condition, with light, superficial scratches and an even patina, stable legs, and intact edges. Dimensions: 100 × 100 × 30 cm.
