Set of six original Thonet S33 cantilever chairs, designed by Dutch architect Mart Stam—an icon of Bauhaus modernism and a milestone in 20th-century design. Reduced to pure function, the chairs feature the revolutionary tubular steel frame that eliminates back legs, creating the characteristic cantilevered swing. Frames are chrome-plated with a curved sled base, paired with dark brown plastic mesh seats and backs that offer both stability and the famous “sitting on air” comfort. Each chair carries Thonet branding and technical embossing confirming authenticity. Condition is very good: chrome surfaces remain bright, mesh upholstery intact, and only light age-consistent wear is visible.
