This rare Dutch Art Deco table, model 259, was designed by P.E.L. Izeren for Genneper Molen in the early 20th century. A trained architect, Izeren infused his furniture with the same structural rigor and geometric clarity, reflecting the aesthetics of the Amsterdam School and Dutch Art Deco. The two-tier composition features sharply tapered legs with black-painted accents, a circular lower shelf, and a striking starburst inlay in mixed wood veneers on the tabletop. Compact yet sculptural, it balances decorative flair with functional elegance. Recently restored, the piece is in very good condition.
