Vintage huge solid teak planter
SAFE PAYMENTS
This unique vintage planter, presumed to be from the 1960s, features a beautifully crafted solid teak body and bottom, resting on a black lacquered metal base reminiscent of the U+N series by Pastoe. Unlike Pastoe models, the base has no screw holes or adjustable height and is smaller, with six distinct feet. Inside are three perfectly fitted cast cement plant boxes (each 58 cm W x 28 cm D x 20 cm H), offering generous planting space. The teak joints are slightly relaxed but remain sturdy, with visible nail heads that align with its original construction method. The metal base shows minor wear and lacquer inconsistencies, typical for its age. A rare, character-rich piece ideal for modern interiors, garden rooms, or mid-century settings.
