Rare set of Papillon lounge chairs designed in 1974 by Guido Maria Rosati for Giovannetti. These sculptural chairs take inspiration from the shape of a butterfly, blending playful design with ergonomic comfort. Their bold form makes them a standout in both vibrant and minimalist interiors. Upholstered in vivid blue fabric, recently redone by the previous owner, the chairs are in very good condition. Both the seat and backrest share identical dimensions and can be interchanged, adding a clever layer of flexibility to the design. An iconic example of Italian 1970s design that is both functional and visually striking.
